Classic Greek Salad Recipe
This classic Greek salad is fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. Made with crisp vegetables, feta cheese, and a light lemon-olive oil dressing, it’s perfect as a side dish or a light meal.
Ingredients (serves 2–3)
- 2-3 tomatoes
- 2 fresh cucumbers
- 1-2 red onions
- 2 bell peppers
- 200 g feta cheese
- 100 g pitted olives (green or black)
- ½ lemon (juice)
- Olive oil, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Wash all vegetables thoroughly and pat them dry.
- Cut the tomatoes into large chunks and slice the cucumbers.
- Thinly slice the red onion and bell peppers.
- Place all vegetables in a large salad bowl.
- Add olives and crumble or cube the feta cheese on top.
- Drizzle with olive oil and squeeze the lemon juice over the salad.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add dried oregano for a classic Greek flavor.
- Gently toss and serve immediately.
