Classic Greek Salad Recipe

This classic Greek salad is fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. Made with crisp vegetables, feta cheese, and a light lemon-olive oil dressing, it’s perfect as a side dish or a light meal.

Ingredients (serves 2–3)

  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 2 fresh cucumbers
  • 1-2 red onions
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 100 g pitted olives (green or black)
  • ½ lemon (juice)
  • Olive oil, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash all vegetables thoroughly and pat them dry.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into large chunks and slice the cucumbers.
  3. Thinly slice the red onion and bell peppers.
  4. Place all vegetables in a large salad bowl.
  5. Add olives and crumble or cube the feta cheese on top.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and squeeze the lemon juice over the salad.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Add dried oregano for a classic Greek flavor.
  9. Gently toss and serve immediately.
