...

These juicy chicken cutlets are soft, flavorful, and perfectly tender. Made with simple ingredients, they’re a comforting homemade dish that pairs well with many side dishes.

Ingredients (Serves 4–5)

  • 500 g ground chicken
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 140 g onion
  • 140 g bread
  • 140 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 30 g butter
  • 80 ml vegetable oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • 5 tbsp breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Soak the bread in milk until soft.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, chopped onion, soaked bread, egg, breadcrumbs, and salt.
  3. Grate or finely chop the butter and add it to the mixture. Mix gently until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into medium-sized cutlets.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the cutlets for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked through.
  7. Remove from the pan and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve hot.

Tips & Variations

  1. Do not overmix the meat mixture - this keeps the cutlets tender.
  2. For a lighter version, bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes.
  3. Add fresh herbs like parsley or dill for extra flavor.
